Monica King is a Marketing Specialist and In-House Graphic Designer for Lynn Imaging and Monster Color, a local, family-owned printing company that just celebrated its 70th anniversary. Monica has worked for non-profits and local, family owned businesses throughout her career. She has always found that her career and personal life should make a difference in the community.
Monica has served on the board of Bluegrass Crime Stoppers and currently serves with Leadership Lexington. She has also held many positions on the board of Right to Life of Central Kentucky, including secretary currently. Before becoming president of AAF Lex, Monica served as secretary for two years.
“I have two goals for my presidency, first to continue to bring our creative community together to learn and help those around us,” Monica explains. Every year, I am blown away by the creative talent in Lexington and want AAF Lex to continue to foster it.
In 2015, Monica and her husband, Steve, adopted a baby. Their pride and joy, Marcus, is now 2. Monica and Steve enjoy going to local events and new, local restaurants.
