Charlie [Charlaine] Martin began her career doing Marketing and Public Relations for professional theatre companies, including the Indiana Repertory Company, Syracuse Stage, and The Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. Following this, she was the Account Representative and Director of Operations for Sound Images, a music and sound design company in Cincinnati. Charlie then went on to be the New Business Director for Sanger & Eby Design, before assuming that same role for Lightborne Communications in 2018.
Before becoming president of AAF Cincinnati, Charlie served on the 1988-1990 AAF Cincinnati Board where she chaired the ADDY committee and was also Treasurer. In addition, Charlie has served as president of Cincinnati chapter of Women in Communications, Inc. and the Mason-Deerfield Arts Alliance. She also worked with the Diocese of Covington to create the first Montessori elementary school in Northern Kentucky.
