Ashley says she was ready to take on chapter leadership: “I wanted to play a more active role in providing valuable resources to our members and to help expand the club.”
AAF-WV is a vital resource for Ashley and other advertising professionals in the Charleston area. “I value being able to network with other advertising professionals in my area,” she explains. “I want to be able to help bring more professional development opportunities to Charleston.”
Ashley’s goals this year include “increasing membership, providing more professional development events and luncheons, and fostering a more collaborative relationship between our student chapters in West Virginia. We recently added the student chapter presidents to our Board so we can be sure they’re aware of all of our benefits and we can do more to mentor future ad professionals.”
When she’s not busy with advertising, media, and managing AAF-WV, Ashley enjoys “reading, traveling and spending time with husband, running, and performing in community theater productions.”
