AAF Toledo President Matt Rubin is an Assistant Account Executive at Hart Inc., a full service ad agency in Toledo and specializing in healthcare marketing. He’s been a Board member for three years, previously serving as 2nd VP, VP, and ADDY co-chair.

“I joined AAF Toledo to be more involved in the Toledo marketing and advertising community,” Matt explains. “AAF Toledo delivers value to members by offering educational programs, supporting the attraction and retention of marketing talent, and facilitating meaningful connections in the community.”

Matt says he decided to become a chapter leader “to bring new ideas to help grow and develop Toledo’s reputation for producing great work.” His goals this year for AAF Toledo are to “revamp our monthly luncheon program format, bring a nationally known speaker to Toledo in 2017, and monetize the AAF Toledo job board.”

AAF Toledo’s inaugural Internship Event in 2015 was an innovative way to support members, Matt notes. “Our goal was to attract, retain, and develop talented college students interested in marketing internships in the Toledo area. We’re now making this an annual event.”

In his free time, Matt enjoys bike riding and spending time with his wife, Bre, and dog, Rambo. “I also operate a start-up real estate development company focused on revitalizing downtown Toledo,” he adds.
